Which is best for what I am looking at doing? Which RAM goes best with each CPU (cas 7 with AMD 635 etc).

Any help would be very appreciated.

Thanks!

There is no difference between them cores for speed but the quad core would be better for multi tasking... it all depends on how much multi tasking you do and most games doesn't support triple core or quad core right now but in the future it would be wise to get the quad core and overclock it with a good cpu fan to 3.2ghz

Most current games support 3 cores. Select games like FSX, GTA4, Dragon age and BFBC2 support 4+ cores. Stop living in 2008.
Your best bet right now is the triple core. But I wouldn't dish the dual core because it has the highest clock and the addition of L3 cache. Just depends on what games you play. I would only go for the x4 if you play those select few games that really need the extra core.
I have an x4 myself, OC to 3.22GHz. If I could do it again, I would get the x3, and try for a higher overclock. Then again, I also plan to replace my current CPU next year so having a quad for the future is irrelevant to me.
