Hello,
How do I determine how many DIMM modules are installed on my computer and what is the size of each? Assume that I have 4 GB or RAM installed (tthat is waht Windows sees).

If Windows reports 4gb, look inside your PC and see how many modules are installed. If two are, then it's probably 2x2gb.

Download and run CPU-z - go to the SPD tab and check each slot listed (the slot # drop down box as shown in the first screen on the second row of screenshots at the link above) and it will tell you what module is in that slot including both the size and speed.

CPU-Z or take the sticks out and look at them.
