That will work ... I can give you a much better build, for less money.

An nVidia 250GTS that supports OpenGL 3.2 might be a better choice (might).

The proc is good ... Ripjaws 1600c7 is better and cheaper RAM kit.

I'd opt for the Hyper 212+ cooler, for ~$30

Mobo is good but an 890GX or 890FX would be even better ... even cheaper?

SAMSUNG DVDR or ASUS ... or Sony Optiarc ... all better than that Lite-On.

WAY better cases for WAY WAY less money ... HAF-922 is best example ... more?

PSU ??? PSU ??? Corsair ~500W Crossfire Ready.

Did not see that bundle with the PSU ... nevertheless ... A HAFF-922 or an ANTEC 300 ILLUSION with a Corsair ~650Watt would xFire 2x5850s without breakin a sweat and would cost (combo) less than $200 (even without any special deals).

Another heatsink that I think would be a good alternative to the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus, if it doesn't come back into stock is the Kingwin XT-1264 $35.
I think the rebate on that Corsair set is hard to beat, hopefully you are planning on using it, otherwise Alvin is right in that there are cheaper sets.

I appreciate the suggestions.

I couldn't find an 890fx motherboard for close to the same cost so I'm going to stick with the 790xta.

The corsair memory advertised slightly better timings, and with the rebate is $5 cheaper, but if the ripjaws is better memory I will get that.

What are the advantages of the 250 gts? I see it is a little cheaper. How does it compare in performance?

I just want a quality case that gives me plenty of room. I selected the antec 1200 because of the powersupply combo and good reviews on newegg. If the 650w psu has plenty of headroom, I will look at it paired with the cases you suggested. It would save me a little money.

Does it matter much which model of samsung, asus, or sony dvd drive I select or just the cheapest?

After the HAF-922 ... The Antec 33 Illusion is the most recommended case on this forum and one of the most popular at newegg ... I have one, in my cart ... they are better than "just good".

This mobo is SO much more jammin than that older one ... I don't even know where to start !

Radeon HD 4890
Excellent 1920x1200 performance in most games

The Radeon HD 4890 has reappeared on our radar in limited quantities, and remains a fantastic buy at the $200 price point. If the Radeon HD 4890 looks good to you, you may want to act quickly, as stock can't possibly last for much longer.
