Scratched back of mobo Tags: Motherboards Cooling Last response: February 3, 2011 1:52 PM in Motherboards Share swtor February 3, 2011 10:39:01 AM Need help last night I put h70 water cooler on mobo and the back bracket scratched the back of the board so that the copper chanel is visible but not severed. What do I do. Put a thin film of thermal compound (Artic Silver 5 or whatever you have) on the exposed portion of the trace in order to protect the copper from oxidizing. Can't find your answer ? Ask !
