New HDD, Old Restore Point?

After only six weeks of use, my primary Sandisk SSD went bad. :fou:
I was wondering if I would be able to take a restore point from my secondary hdd and restore a new hard drive to that point?

More about restore point
  1. restore points can only restore a drive with windows running to a previous state. I think what you are looking for is something like Clonezilla where you can clone all the data from one drive to another.
  2. So it's not possible to install Windows on a new hard drive, and use that restore point, after windows is installed?
I can't access my old hdd at all, so I guess I'm out of luck...

What SSD would you recommend? My local PC store suggested an Intel.

I'm going to RMA my original one, but I considering purchasing another SSD that may be more dependable.

    Thanks again
