So basically Crysis (and FarCry 2) lags really really bad throughout open environments and battles (I have resolution set on 1920x1080 and graphics set on Very High or High, oh and AA is off) and from my knowledge I should have more than a good enough computer cause my friend has one with a bit less power and he can play it just fine on those settings. Can anyone help figure out how to get this game to finally run smoothly?

Two HD 4850s in CFX perform as well as an HD 5850. An HD 5850 cannot max Crysis, especially at 1080p. Try playing on High only, and turn off AA.
