Only 4 bits of color

So i have just finished reinstalling windows xp and after everything was done my computer display looked real crappy because of the color. so i went to properties and settings to change the color quality but when i tried to change it there was only one option. the lowest (4 bit)

Hi, as I said, what is the specification of your computer and have you the latest drivers installed. It is most likely a problem with software that can be rectified with the correct updates.

update your windows.... some of the recommemded updates fixed that for me once, the new drivers didn't like the old windows lol

Install the graphics drivers. Also list full specs.
