Dell reconnect internet problems

Hello,
cleaned up virus with malwarebytes.com; now cannot get to the internet; states that page is not available...Any ideas? I need it for school!!! Cable connected, and wireless working fine on laptop.

Sounds like the virus trashed your network settings or browser. Start by noting down network settings then delete that connection and start a fresh one.

If browser try Opera or Firefox.

Check Internet Explorer's Lan Settings under the Connections tab (all boxes should be unchecked or try running XP WinSockFix.
