Just want to ask you guys if the msi 880gma45 ia a good motherboard to use in builds and is it USB 3.0 and SATA 6?

It does not have USB3 or SATA 6GB. You would have to get 880GMA55 for those functions. It is good board for either using the IGP or a single discrete GPU.

sorry there was a typo it should be MSI 880GMA-E45 AMD880, what mobo can you recommend? that can perform well and is cheap?

Well that board supports both SATA 6GB and USB3. They are all AMD chipset boards with support for AMD socket AM3 CPU's.
