Hi Folks,
In my search for a solution, I've read many posts from people in the
same position as me -- You have a touchpad on your laptop and you want
to use it sometimes, but other times (like when typing an email) you
want it disabled. I just downloaded this program called Virtual
Touchpad Cover from www.tygi.cjb.net and it solved my problem! It
let me setup a key sequence I can press to turn the touchpad on and
off without rebooting. Anyways hope someone else can have one of
their headaches solved by this.

Sounds good, but I recommend to look at the Touchpad driver Functions
also. My VAIO has an activateable automatic lock for the Touchpad
while Keyboard inserts are made. The time how long it remains
deactivated after a Key typed is adjustable.
