hello all.
When i play a game which is not in my screen's native resolution i.e 1920 x 1080p . the edges are black about 1.5 inches from each side.

Only solution is to set resolution to 1080p so its full screen but on a game like battlefield 2, thats too much!

How can i fix it?

I went to CCC and set underscaning to zero%, that fixed my screen issue on desktop stuff. but games still go back to that cutted thing when i play them lets say at 1280X720.
isnt there a way to make them full screen or so.

NEED URGENT HELP PLEASE!!!! using latest catalyst driver. 10.4

Thanks

If your HDTV has a "just scan" option (rather than a set rez) ... use that .

"Side Bars" are common and are just what the TV does when the display rez (aspect ratio) does not fill up the wide-screen format.

If your game does not have a 1080P setting, then, your mon will just fit the vertical portion (top to bottom) to fill that dimension and any unused display space (on the sides) is ... well ... blank ... it is working like it is supposed to.
