I'm reading that even though my monitor says 1920 X 1080, my graphics card can go as high as 2560 X 1600. I have a Dell ST2410 (24") monitor. How do I get the monitor to go to a higher resolution by using the graphics card to do it?
It is not recommended to force LCD to higher than native resolution. If it is possible it will have very bad picture quality. Stick with your 1920 x 1080.
Having a graphics card supporting 2560 x 1600 means it can support a monitor with that native resolution like the DELL 30"
