AMD II X3 or X4?

building 1st pc

i am looking to buy the

AMD Athlon II X3 440 Rana 3.0GHz Socket AM3 95W Triple-Core Desktop Processor ADX440WFGIBOX
and
MSI 870-G45 AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard

should i upgrade to a

AMD Athlon II X4 630 Propus 2.8GHz Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Processor ADX630WFGIBOX
but keep the same mother board?

would that be worth the extra $23

I plan to use this pc for Graphic Design Software

ex. Photoshop, Illustraotr, Flash, etc.

the exra core will help for threaded programs, so yea I'd say you'd see improvments with photoshop, most graphics programs that i've seen do multithreads so 4 cores will render faster than 3 for ya

I would say it's worth it, especially if your running more than one of those programs at the same time.
