Asus M3A-H/HDMI dead after bios update Tags: Asus BIOS Hdmi Motherboards Last response: February 6, 2011 6:33 PM in Motherboards Share frank18729 February 6, 2011 6:32:22 AM Hello, my ASUS M3A-H/HDMI is dead (i.e. doesn't do anything after power on) after an attempted BIOS update to V2002. The BIOS update procedure claimed that it was successful. Is there any method to recover from the situation? See your MOTHERBOARD MANUAL. That will change your settings to default, it will not change your BIOS version. If it won't start after that I don't know if it can be fixed. UPDATE: Try just removing the power cable for a minute first before clearing the CMOS. I had a motherboard that wouldn't start and that worked. | Report abuse Ask the community Publish Tom's Hardware>Forum>Motherboards>Asus M3A-H/HDMI dead after bios update> Related ressources: ForumAsus M3A-H/HDMI no standby/hibernate ForumM2N-E dead after BIOS update ForumAsus P7P55D-E LX not booting after BIOS update ForumSOS, Help, etc etc... dead mobo after Bios update .
