PCI-E not working

hi, my systems configs are given below

Asus Sticker II Formula M/b
Core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU
Kingston 6g Rams
EVGA GTX460 vga
Samsung lcd 32" TV for monitor

there is no problem with my pc until today's morning.when i switch on it there are no display signals.then i remove my VGA card and fixed it in to 2nd VGA slot, after few sec,there is a same message "no signals" and after another time the display signal is coming! so its only working in VGA slot 2 and it will take some time to boot my system,
so anyone have some idea regarding this pls help me

You are saying the card works in the second slot not in the primary slot! Apart from being a bad contact or BIOS setting then the possibility is that the primary slot on the board died. Try cleaning the slot and reseating the card in it.
