5850 & 10.4 Preview Drivers

Yesterday I installed the 10.4 drivers then later when it finished an error message pops up telling me that I didnt have a driver installed or something. So I head over to the AMD's site to download the official 10.3 drivers then later when it finishes I check the driver version then it shows up as 10.4. When i started up BC2 it crashed. It happens when a game starts

Try turning off your OC and uninstalling all drivers and programs that have to do with your GPU (including OC and monitoring tools). Then (optional) go into safe mode and run driver sweeper/cleaner. Then install new drivers and OC tools and reapply the OC.

Do a clean install of the driver,here is how:
1_Download "Driver Sweeper" from here
2_Remove the current driver from add/remove programs(after it finished,restart and boot to safe mode)
In safe mode, open Driver Sweeper,choose ATI and click remove.
3_Restart and boot normally to windows and install Catalyst 10.4 again,after the installation restart the PC.
Do this steps and see if it helps or not
