Motherboard for processor AMD x4

Hi i have a processor AMD x4 but i want to get a new motherboard with 2x pci express 16x for crossfire. but every mother i look that was compatible with my processor only support ddr2 memory.. i'am using ddr3

What exact AMD CPU are you referring to by AMD x4 {e.g. Phenom X4 9750, Athlon II X4, etc...}?
