ATI 5770 bios resolution change

I have the need to change my graphics bios standard resolution so that when there are no drivers installed i can still run it with 1920x1080 instead of 1024x768. I was wondering if this is possible? and if anyone knows how to do it? I need this for when i run other operating systems and cant find drivers for it.

When there are no drivers installed for a GPU in windows it runs of Windows std(generic) VGA driver!

o ok, i saw somewhere that the graphics card has a resolution set in the bios that it runs as standard.. guess this isn't true then?

The OS needs a driver so it can communicate with hardware!
