System restore

Hi,

Im looking to gt some images back which were deleted accidently a while back on my XP computer, will a system restore do this or can anyone suggest a better way?

System Restore will do nothing to get user-data back, it only restores essential system files, as the name implies.

You can try file recovery software, but if the drive concerned has been written to over several days since the files were deleted, I don't hold out much hope but nothing to lose by trying. Take your pick: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/filerecovery/tp/free-file-recovery-programs.htm
