  1. If your in the USA, go to newegg.com. You should be able to get an Antec, Corsair, or Seasonic 400-500W PSU for around $60 shipped. Grab a 5670 or 5750 and you should be set.

He does have a system that can keep up with the card right? Motherboard with PCIe?
  2. Honestly if he can flip that $165 up to $210 he could get a MUCH better card and a nice PSU. Below is a great combo and has free shipping. The extra $45 will go a LONG way. Basically if you are stuck at the $165 budget you MAY be able to get a 5750 in there with a cheaper PSU, but that is stretching it. At $210 you get a SOLID psu and a great 5770 card.

  3. Not a bad combo. If you stay with the previous linked PSU and are willing to spend about $180 you can get the 5750. Not as nice as the combo you linked, but closer to the $165 mark. If $165 is the max, I doubt you'll get much better then the previous two things linked.
  4. You'd be an idiot to pass up this deal. It was on the Tom's daily deals page.

It's a Radeon 5750 1gb for $115 shipped. Click on "get deal" to go to the Newegg page.

Power supply wise, it's not as easy. Here's one I saw on Newegg.
500w Thermaltake, only $40 after rebate. Might only be $30, I don't know if the price includes the $10 promo code.

That psu that rolli showed is a better bet though, and would only bring it up to $165 with that 5750.
