Hasee wlan driver for windows xp

Hello, I live in china and have a hasee es12 (or hp240w) laptop that I recently installed windows xp on. Im not a very good computer guy and when my operating system stopped working I installed windows xp from a disk my friend gave me. long story short my wifi wont connect, and I think Im missing a driver. is this typical? if so any idea where I can find a driver for this chinese computer? Any help would be really appreciated, thanks.

it depends on the type of hard ware you are using. so do let us know what wifi hardware u are using
