I just finished my FIRST build. It's possible and likely that i'm a dummy and screwed something up. I'm hoping that it's me. I plugged in my new rig, flicked on the switch on the PSU and went to hit the power button and NADA. I think I saw one of my LED fans flash but it could have been my heart just wishing. When it comes to hearing anything start up is there anything I could have done wrong or is my PSU DOA? I just took it out of the box 4 hours ago...

exactly. unlike a dead power supply lack of knowledge can be fixed.

Are there any recommended steps to diagnose the issue?

I looked at 24 pin connector from PSU and notice there are only 23 in the 24 slots. Is this normal?

I have a couple of laptops. No PC's...

The 24 pin connector from the PCU has 23 connectors inside of it. The spot with the X is empty.

There's no wire connected to that one hole whatsoever. It's a corsair TX650W.

i was just suffering from lack of sleep. i shouldn't have done my first build after a 14 hour workday. i had something connected that I shouldn't have. I noticed the moment I opened it back up and it worked immediately upon correction. Sad...

THANKS THOUGH!
