Hi everyone, I bought a Dell T7500 barebones from an ebay seller in my city. Ive just received it this morning and have given it the once over. On inspection I think the CPU slot has damaged / flattened pins but Ive never seen a 1366 slot before so I cant be sure its not standard design. Photos here: http://www.all3d.ie/th43/

Could someone please confirm if it is broken for me so that I can move to get a refund. Many thanks.

Just to update this, ive powered it up without cpu, graphics card or ram and it does power on but I get a solid amber power button and green 1,2 and 4 Led error code lights.

after inserting ram and restarting I get the same error code.

Inserting a graphics card and hooking up to a monitor didnt give me anything onscreen and the same code.

I cant find reference to that specific combination of error lights online sofar.
This link ( http://itechjsc.com.vn/techsupport/dell/workstations/t7500/sm_en/diags.htm) does not feature that combination however the stuff ive read says that solid amber indicates the power is okay. The 1,2,4 light combination indicates a hardware population incompatibility with a critical system component such as CPU, VRM, PSU, or MEMORY RISER.

there are no error code beeps and the system just spins up the fan thereafter.

I dont know if the above sheds any light on the matter. The only problem I can see is still the flattened pins to the cpu slot. Any help much appreciated please.
