what software do you overclock your 5850?

rivatuner currently does not support the 5800 series even after i add the device id.

msi after burner doesn't allow me to overclock ( the sliders go back to default whenever i apply)

amd gpu clock tool does not make any difference when i apply the overclock ( it does nothing)

The only thing working now is ati overdrive( can only go 775/1125) and i see about 2 to 3 frames more.

Just wondering how do people overclock their 5850?

gpu tool does not detect correctly the card - it shows core clock 14 mhz , and memory as 14 mhz . does not allow me to increase . Shows the fan as %100, whiis not

Really? Don't think so, you have a link?

@OP to get MSI Afterburner to work properly you need to go to

C: /Program Files(x86)MSI Afterburner, Right click on the file called MSIAfterburner (the one thats a CFG file) go to 'Open with' and choose Notepad.
Then where it says "Enableunofficialoverclocking = 0" Change the '0' to a 1

Save the file, and your done the sliders should stay and not go back to default when you hit apply.
