Toshiba canvio slow access time
I have a Toshiba Canvio 1Tb. When I connected to laptop, it was already formatted and so transferred files directly. It can be operated in USB2.0 from laptop pots (LED=white) or in USB3.0 from USB3 port from PCexpress card and additional power supply from the cable provided.
My probem: when the drive is not used for about 5-10mins, it goes in idle/sleep mode, and when accessed again, it takes a boring 6-10seconds delay access time. I am hoping that there is a software solution and not a harddisk problem.
