Monitor blank out

Try turning off the power saving settings on your monitor or desktop. Make sure the connections are secure.
Is this randomly as in you're using the monitor or randomly as is in the monitor turns off while you're away?

Possible causes of your problem:
-Windows automatically turns off the display after a certain amount of idle time
-Loose connection

If my first suggestion is the issue, it can be solved in the power options.
