is the athlon ii x4 better than my core 2 duo too??? or should i wait a bit longer until buying new parts??
  3. Whats the new build gonna be like?

With an OC, the 640 should perform better than the E7400 but not by much, you will see an noticeable improvement on programs that use all 4 thread though.
  4. personally, i wouldnt get the 640, id get the 635, as you are paying 20$ for 100 MHz. the 9850 is old, no reason to buy it. heres a comparison of the 635 and 9850:

and one of the 635 and E7500:

the 635 beats both quite heavily in real world apps.

do u think this CPU will last for at least some time, before upgrading again??

If you're looking at Amd 640, why not give a little more and get the Phenom 945 (C3)
I just got mine weeks ago, and i didn't really regret it, it undervolt surprisingly well, at stock 3.0GHz it went down to 0.75v idle and 1.12v max load, it's even better than my previous Amd Athlon II 250(0.8v idle 1.15v load) and my i7 920@3.0GHz with turbo on(1.04v idle 1.05v max load)
I think it will overclock till 3.6GHz with no effort, but I haven't try mine yet since I'm looking at low idle power and the 945 did the job!
  11. The 922 is an excellent case.

The MSI board is good, but the ASRock offers the same features plus USB3/SATA6 for the same price. But if you like the MSI go ahead, still a very competent board.

yeah man, i think ill get that one or even the 955, but i will have to wait a bit longer, but no problem

    thx man!!!
  13. I love MSI personally, but the Asrock had better features for same price. The HAF 922 IS an excellent case, however, id likely take one of those 2 case over it, especially since you can customize airflow so much in the 692.

i dodnt found the asus board on amazon, ill have to go for the MSI, but thx man!!
  15. do you have to buy from amazon? and it wasnt asus.

i just found this case on amazon COOLER MASTER RC-692-KKN2, but do u really think is better, i preffer how the HAF version looks

yeah, from amazon, oh srry, my mistake ASROCK
  18. do you live in the US? and yes, id take the 692 over the HAF. It has better features, however the HAF will cool a little better. However whats really nice is that the 692 has 10 slots for fans, so you can really make it have extremely good airflow, better than the HAF 922 by a lot by just adding a few fans, where as the HAF 922 is pretty much maxed out. Just my opinion, both are excellent. The NZXT is a happy middle ground though.

the two cases have the same price, i will decide when ima bout to buy, i dont live in the US
  20. that explains amazon. and yes, all 3 cases i linked have the same price. the NZXT is the mixture of onboard cooling a features, the HAF is likely the 2nd best for cooling, and the 692 has the best features, and by far the best expandability, as you can add up to 10 fans to make it have airflow> the HAF and NZXT.

thx man, i think ill go for the 10 fans, haha
  23. haha, well for max airflow, i recommend taking the top 140 and front 140, putting them on the side, then keeping the 120mm fan in the rear, and adding 2 120mm fans on top, 1 on the bottom, and 1 at the front. so basically buy 4 120mm fans.
