sup guys, which CPU is better?? the athlon ii x4 640 or the phenom x4 9850???? im getting one of those for my new build, right now i have a intel core 2 duo e7400 running at 3.3Ghz.

Thx guys!!!!

Solution
If you're looking at Amd 640, why not give a little more and get the Phenom 945 (C3)
I just got mine weeks ago, and i didn't really regret it, it undervolt surprisingly well, at stock 3.0GHz it went down to 0.75v idle and 1.12v max load, it's even better than my previous Amd Athlon II 250(0.8v idle 1.15v load) and my i7 920@3.0GHz with turbo on(1.04v idle 1.05v max load)
I think it will overclock till 3.6GHz with no effort, but I haven't try mine yet since I'm looking at low idle power and the 945 did the job!

i just found this case on amazon COOLER MASTER RC-692-KKN2, but do u really think is better, i preffer how the HAF version looks

ares1214

Splendid
do you live in the US? and yes, id take the 692 over the HAF. It has better features, however the HAF will cool a little better. However whats really nice is that the 692 has 10 slots for fans, so you can really make it have extremely good airflow, better than the HAF 922 by a lot by just adding a few fans, where as the HAF 922 is pretty much maxed out. Just my opinion, both are excellent. The NZXT is a happy middle ground though.

the two cases have the same price, i will decide when ima bout to buy, i dont live in the US

that explains amazon. and yes, all 3 cases i linked have the same price. the NZXT is the mixture of onboard cooling a features, the HAF is likely the 2nd best for cooling, and the 692 has the best features, and by far the best expandability, as you can add up to 10 fans to make it have airflow> the HAF and NZXT.

thx man, i think ill go for the 10 fans, haha

haha, well for max airflow, i recommend taking the top 140 and front 140, putting them on the side, then keeping the 120mm fan in the rear, and adding 2 120mm fans on top, 1 on the bottom, and 1 at the front. so basically buy 4 120mm fans.
