Seagate is a famous company which provides world wide data solutions, So it is good for use.

If it's an external drivve, it doesn't matter what it's for. The drive itself? It'll do what you need it too. If you're thinking the price is too high, or just willing to wait however, I'd watch for a sale. You'll definitely be able to grab it at a lower price (or at least one of similar quality.)

How do you watch for a sale? Just keep browsing Newegg everyday until you suddenly see the price go down?

actually thats a good price for a 2TB usb 3.0 drive. it even comes with an extended warranty. on newegg you can click on the button that says "Price Alert" if you want to be notified if the price changes.
