on my new notebook (HP EliteBook 8540w) I reinstalled Windows XP to Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit). I followed the instruction during the installation process and everything went smoothly except that now I cannot connect to internet anymore (in Windows XP I did not have any problem). I am getting a message saying: "No connections are available" but I am connected through macbook to our wireless internet access, so there is at least one connection available. The wireless on the notebook seems to be on. Any idea how to solve this?
Thanks a lot.

Have you checked your adapters are set up Device Manager. When I set up a router I use an ethernet cable first with the ISPs Software. This tends to minimize any problems. Have you reset your router (turn off for 30 seconds then reboot)
