I am planning on buying a ssd next week ,for games and windows, and i am confused on which ones to buy. I do not have that much knowledge ,when it comes to ssd, so i was hoping posting this could help me.

Basically i am looking to spend my money on a good reliable 256gb/240gb ssd, i would of course rather get whats best for my money, but i am willing to spend the extra money on a more reliable/faster ssd.

Some of the cheaper priced ssd im looking at are:

I am confused that i see some ssd that are priced at about $300 and the speeds don't compare to a $250 one. Why are the prices different if the speeds are the same? Also, which one is the best bang for my buck?

You need to read some reviews. IMHO, speed is less a factor than reliability. The only place most people notice speed increases is on boot and opening programs. You quickly forget about that. The quality leaders are clearly Intel, Samsung & Crucial. My advice is to buy one of those on sale. I've seen M4 and Samsung 830 x 256GB for around $200 recently. Be patient.
