Spire Thermax Eclipse II compatible with Amd Phenom II x4 955?

Like the title states I am just worried about compatibility because Thermax states its compatible with "AMD socket 754/939/940/AM2/AM3" But no 955...just wondering because I need new after market cooler as the stock amd cooler isn't helping much

First... The X4 955 CPU is an AM3 socket so it will fit.

Second... I recommend the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus instead. It is the best performance to price you can buy... IMO.
