Ok guys so i finally finished hooking up my new PC I ave 1 SSD(OS) and 1 HDD(storage), is there a way to make the HDD the main place to download programs? what i mean by that is how do i designate the HDD for storage because i dont want to install anything on the SSD except for windows/windows updates.

Thank you for our help.

Ahhh ok yeha i knew about that was wondering if there was a way it can default to that....

what about like my documents and all that stuff is there a way to put that on HDD(storage) or can that only be on the SDD(OS) Drive?

Default to that? I don't think so. You must specify the drive whenever you install new programs; which is not very often.

No problem! You can put all your documents and data, music, video, etc., on the HDD. This will be useful when performing backups.

My 'C' drive is for Windows and other programs only. All my data, music, videos, etc. are on a different 1TB hard disk.

For backups I use an external 1.5TB hard disk.
