Class action against HP, laptops

Why would there be.

For all the failures in their Lap top computer. Mine was purchased in 2008. I started shutting down and in a few days refused to start. I took it to 2 different Computer techs and they knew the problem without even opening it. He showed me several others with the same problem. Poor design.
The other Tech says he suggests buy the cheapest motherboard for it will also overheat. They only offer 30 day warranty on this type computer and do not recommend having them repaired

There was one a while back that dragged on with the NVidia Chipsets, but I think that was 2006 or 2007

i am looking for class action info against HP as well; does anyone of any current activity???
