Hey guys, I was wondering whether or not it is possible to use a dual monitor setup on my MSI NF980 G65 AM3 nForce 980a SLI HDMI AMD Motherboard . Currently I am only using onboard video because I got rid of my old ones to prepare for the gtx480. Seeing that I cannot find one right now and I need to save up more money, I was wondering if I could use a dual monitor setup because my motherboard has a standard DVI output along with a HDMI output. So I thought I could put my old DVI to HDMI cable to use and have a dual monitor setup, one monitor using the DVI output and the other using HDMI. Please let me know if this is possible or if the motherboard is even capable of supporting dual monitors. Thanks in advance.

Considering it's an on-board GeForce 8-series GPU, it should be able to do so. Maybe asking MSI directly would be advisable...

You can find phone numbers to call them here: http://us.msi.com/index.php?func=html&name=aboutus
Or fill-in and use their online tech support request form here: http://service.msicomputer.com/msi_user/ts_form.aspx

I've tried asking nVidia about it via their Live Help, but that board's IGP isn't part of the actual 980a chipset, so they've got no info and suggested asking MSI directly. Unfortunately, MSI doesn't offer a Live Help system.
