Hello,
Drive not ready error in window xp (The drive is not ready for use; its door may open. Plese check drive and make sure that a disk is interested and that the drive door is closed.

If this is a cd/dvd drive, make sure the eject button isn't stuck, otherwise the cd/dvd drive may be faulty and need replaced.
