Dual video card for dell gx280

I called dell to see what card I need to run 2 or 3 monitors and they didnt know does anyone know a(cheap) card that will work? I have 2 radeon 9000 but when I plug them in evrything goes black untill I unplug and restart any help please thanks Bob
