600-800 Budget Gaming PC

Hey everyone,

I have an older laptop that's finally crapped out. I've built a few computers with my dad in the past, and have been wanting to get back into some gaming, so a homebuilt seems like fun. Hoping to get some critique or suggestions for improvement of a build I'm thinking about. Would like to be able to do some mainstream gaming and I value performance-per-dollar.

  1. If you can, i would go with phenom II and maybe instead of a 5750, I would go with a 5770. Otherwise, not bad.
