New cpu inop

I bought a 2.9ghz athlonx2 be to try to get more life out of my system but it doesnt boot. Tried a reflash still nothing.
I have a foxconn MCP61M2MARS2 mb it's supposed to be able to run athlon x2 64bit chips... old cpu works fine still....

foxconn doesnt specify the maximum cpu wattage on thier site. Im going from 45w to 95w, 500w power supply, can the board even handle this..

It does not look like it is supported by your motherboard.

Looks to be correct, I sure wish foxconn could make thier info easier to find. There is no info for cpu wattage on my mb listed. I figure based on what I saw is that 90w is pushing it. thx, I guess I will look for a new mb, since all the cpu's listed are no longer in the mainstream.......
