  1. In any case, since attempted system repairs may wipe out your data, I recommend that you get an external drive, build a boot disc like Parted Magic, and copy all your data.

    Second, more information would help. Does Windows start? My first guess here is that it fails to. But if it starts and you get this messsage in a message box, please tell us so. Tell us how far it does get in the booting process and what messages you see, with all the spaces (or were there really no spaces in the above?).

    Is this a homebuilt system or storebought? Homebuilt, I recommend a Repair Install from the Windows disc you used to build the system.

    If storebought, first contact the manufacturer's technical support. If that doesn't work, and you have their recovery disc, try rebuilding your system.
