689 Memtest errors - what's going on?

I just finished building my computer yesterday, and was getting multiple blue screens so I decided to run memtest. It came up with 689 errors!. Im not sure if there really is a problem with my RAM (Corsair TW3X4G1333C9DHX). All settings, timings, voltages etc are at default, haven't touched them.

What should I do?

4GB. (2 x 2GB). And a Asus M4A89GTD Pro USB3.

I just upped the voltage from 1.546 to 1.846. Ran memtest again and got 154 errors in 8 minutes

Holly crap, lower that voltage. Use the DRAM Voltage at 1.60~1.64v when the DRAM Frequency is running at 1333 MHz and if needed the NB Voltage at 1.25~1.30v.

Also, set your CAS timings: 9-9-9-24-2N

Sorry, I posted that wrong. Voltage is on 1.675 and it just passed a 40 minute memtest with no errors Should I lower it down to 1.64 and run again? Or would it be fine to leave it the way it is?

Less is 'more' so I would try DRAM Voltage 1.60~1.64v

And will the blue screens stop now that I have got rid of the memory errors?

Running too high or too low can be damaging longterm. When I OC I try to find the lowest + stable voltage; voltage = heat.

If your BSOD were caused by RAM errors then yes they should go away. There are a TON of reasons for BSOD - a friggin TON!!!

Voltage is now at 1.64375 and passed memtest.
