I was wondering if anyone knew of any differences between the Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5850 Gamer Edition and the Sapphire ATI Radeon HD Retail Edition? When I was looking for my 5850 the shop I bought if from was selling both at the same price but were out of the Gamer Edition. I ended up getting MW2 with my retail edition.

Probably had a better cooler, possibly a slight OC. Nothing to worry about too much.

Negligible I bet, otherwise they'd charge you for it. Did you get the reference card or one of the custom cooler ones?

I have one that comes witha custome cooler. The fan is located at the center over the gpu rather then at the end. This results in a idle temperature of about 34C.

Nice. I'm pretty sure I know the one you are referring to. Even reference cools great, so I imagine that card will stay quite cool even in Furmark.
