What are your requirements?

What is the minimum diagonal size you're willing to accept?

Is color accuracy important?

What are your minimum resolution requirements?

What about response time? This is important if you're a gamer.

Does it have to be HDCP capable?

Does it have to have DVI and HDMI ports?

My last two panels have been Samsung S-PVA's. The one I use now is the Samsung SyncMaster 305T Plus.

Which brands are available in your country and what is your budget.? If you are looking for a low budget LCD monitor then just pick the one which looks good to you.. They are all almost same.. Samsung, LG, Benq, AOC are few of the manufacturers who make good quality display..

Check out the Dell G2410.. Not sure of it bearing any HDMI inputs but it has real narrow borders..

Its an IPS. Better color reproduction, less color bleeding, smoother edges, more clarity, higher viewing angle. As good as it gets. I'm trying to save some money to get mine! :)

Ya i know... But its as good as it gets...

Buying preference should be:
IPS, VA, TN.

Price is in that order too! :(

An IPS panel monitor is the best one can buy currently.. However, its more suited for designers and cg artists.. Gamers do not require such high level color accuracy.. A good TN panel monitor with fast response times will suffice for majority of the gamers..

Its help yourself now.. Head to your nearest retailers and check out the available monitors.. In case you come across two or more monitors which you like and which fulfill your needs then make a note of them.. Google them up for reviews or post them here so we can give our further suggestions..
