Hi,
I have all the Mac versions of TR and am currently thinking of
purchasing a low-end Mac - probably an eMac. Since new Macs are no
longer bootable into OS 9, I was wondering if anybody here knows whether
the TR games run OK under classic mode in OS X. TRC has a native
Carbon version, but all the others are classic only.

I haven't had much luck. TR1 in OSX 10.3.4 classic mode will run, but
the movies are noticeably slower and the passport menu doesn't display
correctly (no save/load names). Also, using RAVE rendering, the
shading on Lara is blotchy. Using software rendering causes the game
to crawl. I reboot in OS9.2.2 for TR1-4. All are easier for me to play
with OS9's built in gamepad support.
