Problem Recognizing SSD&HDD

Last response: in Storage

This is a pretty nooby question, so be prepared. I just got a new SSD for my computer strictly as a boot drive. I reinstalled windows and cleared my HDD. Now when I go into Computer the only drive I see is my SSD and it is set as my C:. My HDD doesn't even show on the screen. I know my computer knows it's there because when I go into device manager and expand the Disc Drives option I see both my SSD and HDD there. How do I make my HDD C: for storage and make my SSD strictly a boot device?

REINSTALL windows with just your new SSD connected, then once it's installed hookup the hdd.
