Gt 220 vs 9600 gt OC

evga ddr3 1gb gt 220 vs bfg 9600 gt OC 512mb?

which is better in overall performance? my screen resolution would be a 24" monitor it runs 1920 x 1080

so which would be better? because they differ in size 512mb and 1gb is it going to affect at all? what about in gaming like light gaming nothing crazy like CRYSIS...

and i have a HEC 585 power supply with 1 6pin connector

The 9600GT is substantially more powerful than the GT 220. Your power supply is plenty for either card.
The 1GB vs 512MB VRAM size is less important than the relative GPU power of the cards.
