NEC Versa C160 stopped working with VGA TV

Hi, I wonder if anybody can help me.

My NEC Versa C160 laptop used to display on my dad's Philips Plasma TV
through its VGA port a few weeks ago, but now it has suddenly stopped
working.

I'm still using the same VGA cable as before, and I think the problem
is with the laptop, as it won't display on my desktop monitor now,
which it did before.

The drivers on the laptop are SIS 740 version 1.15.11, which came with
the laptop. I haven't intentionally changed anything on it, so I
don't know whats suddenly happened.

Does anybody have any suggestions?
