Hi Everyone,

I'll be earning some money over the summer, so it's time for a new PC to replace my ancient laptop. Looking for a $1000 - $1200 pc for playing some of the newest games, and for work in general.

This is my proposed parts list:
CPU - Core i5-750 - estimated $200

GPU - ATI Radeon 5850 - estimated $300

Motherboard - not sure

RAM - not sure, looking for 4GB

SSD - willing to spend $200 on it. Hopefully above 50GB.

2 2.5" to 3.5" adapters - $20 or so. I have a 7200RPM notebook drive, and SSDs are 2.5", right?

Wireless card - $40 - I want to be able to make a wifi hotspot w/Win7 and Connectify.

So in the end, I am looking at about $200-$400 wiggle room for the mobo and RAM. Should I get a fan or some cooling too? I might need to get a new PSU too (see below)

This is what I already have:
PSU - Enhance 400W ENG-5140GH - Is 400W enough? This PSU got good reviews in 2007.
OS - Win7
Optical Drive
Case - Thermaltake Armor Jr. Black
HDD - 500GB Hitachi 7200 Travelstar 2.5" Notebook Drive, also 80GB WD Caviar
Mouse and Keyboard
22" LCD Monitor - 1920x1080

Thanks a lot!
