Hi Sweetsmiles:
Most computers have one or more internal fans for cooling. Usually they are inexpensive fans and all too often they don't last too long. Just about every main processor has a fan, most video cards for high end video have fans and the power supply module will also have a fan. If you are tech savvy, even just a little bit, you may be able to identify which fan is causing the problem and you can try to find a replacement. Most fans simply plug into the motherboard or power supply. Of course, after you identify the noisy fan - shut the computer down gracefully before you attempt to unplug the fan. If the noise is coming from the power supply you likely will have to replace the power supply - unless you more tech savvy. Check out the smaller local computer stores - the big guys are useless unless you want to pay them to fix the problem. Good Luck!
