Started having a Phantom Q Drive appear and then Code 43 USB error messages.
I uninstalled the usb driver and reinstalled it. Same thing for the the NEC USB 3 software.
Now the re-boot is taking ages. Windows takes 5 minutes to boot when before it usually took seconds.
I tested every USB port and all of them are working fine except when I eject. Many times the computer still reads the drive but no USB is connected.
Any idea what the problem could be?
Thanks

I read the error code description from Microsoft. Uninstalled the Drivers from every USB and restarted letting windows reinstall the drivers and still no solution.
I unplugged the card reader and front USB ports on the case and found that two pins were bent and touching each other on the card reader closing the circuit.
When I unplugged the reader the computer restarted like normal and no USB error codes.
Problem Solved. Thanks for the input.
