Hey Guys, so I am thinking about buying the 250GTS but I have a few questions before I do so.
1.) Is it any good for playing games on a high resolution?
2.) How much ram do you suggest I should upgrade to so it works smoothly(I've got 2Gb right now, thinking of getting 4gigs)
3.) Is there any processor that you can recommend, that should be used with this graphic card?(currently I've got a intel dual-core e5300@~2.6ghz)

It will struggle with 1920x1080, especially with the heavy games you've listen. See if you can find an HD5770 for the same price (or give/take $20) as your GTS250.

4GB is the norm.

If you can OC your CPU to ~3.4ghz you would be fine. Otherwise, shoot for an E7200 or E8400.

what would I have to do in order to make it run perfect? in addition, the gts costs ~40 dollars less than the 5770 here.

also, do i need to buy a better cooler? i dont really know anything about computers, but my pc is really quiet while playing games so does that make the cooler good?

i've been looking at this one though: thermaltake v1 ax

..by the way how do i overclock my cpu, because im 15 so I dont really have that much mony saved up right now(got ~300 euros) and most of that will go to the graphics card and the ram upgrade(im on 2 right now, so i dont know if i can just buy another 2gigs ram or if i have to buy a whole new 4gb)

the gts 250 is the same exact card as a 9800 gtx but most of the 250s have 1gb ram compared to 512mb there are 9800 gtx cards with one gig of ram out there and can be had for the same price if not a bit cheaper

The 250 and 5770 are great cards .... up to 1650 x 1050.....the 5770 is faster than the 250 and comes within 10% of the 260.....At 1920 x 1200 w/ heavy duty DX10 games like Crysis and DX11 games, you are really in the $300 price category (5850 / 470) if you want to play them w/o reducing detail settings.
